Throughout the years I have met many good people that feel alienated by traditional churches because of the guilt they feel when well intentioned preachers rattle off a list of requirered behaviors necessary for acquiring Gods grace. I call it "The Ned Flanders Syndrome".
Believe it or not God loves you and accepts you even if you are more like Homer and Bart.
The message that God accepts all of us even though our behavior doesn't live up to the high calling of most traditional churches was not being shared. Gods only requirement of us is Faith
Faith in his son and the price that was paid on the cross at calvary. "that whosoever believeth in him shall be saved".
